TOWER is not just a list of contacts. it’s an interactive program that lets me assess a persons value. it allows me to dispatch information securely, run a team through a mission and receive information back. i designed it myself and i must say, it’s very good.
there’s a good lad.
boss what on earth.
what the fuck boss?
what the actual fuck?
for you lovely people.
“You can’t just - no. I am traumatized. I am fucking shaking. Look at my hand.”
Langdale held out his hand. Traumatized might have been a tad melodramatic but his slender fingers were indeed trembling; not comically so, but he was visibly pale and shaken.
“You can’t just kill people in front of me and then act like we just went and had a beer. For fuck’s sake. I’m implicated. You’ve implicated me, you - you inexplicably appealing dickhead.”
Sebastian rolled his eyes and pushed Langdale into the car, forcing him to sit down as he climbed in, folding long limbs in the backseat. He nodded at the driver and they pulled slowly away from the curb, not a single noise out of place in the residential area. No sirens, yelling, hysterics. The only overreaction was the one happening next to him.
“That’s my job, remember?” Sebastian said, pulling off his gloves slowly, sticking them in the pocket of his jacket. He looked over at the other man, completely entertained, not even thinking a bit about the two dead men in the townhouse they had just left, “Temper, Mister Pike, praise like that is practically an invitation for me to ravish you.”
